My friend has been using skin moisturizers on her ever-dry skin for all the time I have known her without achieving much success. I have often wondered (silently of course) what the problem could be until a few weeks ago when I read somewhere that a person could fail to achieve any positive results by applying moisturizing skin care products on dry skin. While this did not sound like shattering info, I directed my friend to the site and the following day she started following the instructions given. The site advised that moisturizers be applied on skin that is slightly wet. The positive results have shocked both my friend and I.
