Indonesia is a country where most everyone lives way below the poverty level and many people don’t have food or even basic first aid. When I went there with New Tribe Missions, I was horrified to see that there were so many starving kids there. Most of them hadn’t eaten in days and those that did had scraps that we wouldn’t even leave for a mouse. We gave the people food, water, shelter and basic first aid. They were so sick that that couldn’t help themselves do anything. The conditions were so poor, I was glad that by the time we left, they were at least a little better off.
