When I made the decision to move my gifted son from a homeschooling environment to a more traditional school, it was a lot of heartache. We struggled with what was best for our son. He is way off the charts in relation to kids his age. We initially tried a private school, but they didn’t deliver on the promises of being able to handle his unique situation. We finally moved to Arizona charter schools and are currently in the process of getting the IEPs taken care of and in place. It looks like this will be much more suitable for his advanced needs.
