The best portraits come from situations where people are unaware and caught up in their own reality at the moment I snap the shutter. The entire day, I and my team will document the event and look for continuously unraveling candid moments that are impactful, warm, and always a surprise. The purpose is to tell a story, and to do that, I must all write these words with cameras. Like a writer uses vocabulary, I use the vocabulary and language of the scene in front of me.
